No matter where you go in the world you see injustices like human trafficking, unclean drinking water, lack of opportunities for education, lack of medical care, overwhelming poverty, corrupt government, etc… Have you ever asked yourself what you can do?, In Luke 18 Jesus promised that when we cry out night and day, he will give speedy justice. As we cry out before him in the place of worship and intimacy he releases his heart for the poor and broken.. What does heaven’s justice look like for those who are sick? Healing! For the hungry? Food! We have a strong emphasis on both the place of prayer/intimacy and acts of social justice, Combining prayers for justice with acts of justice

YWAM DTS

The Justice DTS will be a life changing 5 1/2 months of training and outreach: putting into action what we learn. What does it look like to see God’s justice on the earth? How can we partner with the Holy Spirit to see lives and communities transformed? On this DTS we will equip you to release God’s heart through evangelism, prayer and action. The Discipleship Training School (DTS) is a Christian programme that will challenge you to deepen your relationship with God as you get to know His character and His ways.

Why do a DTS?

The school is designed to help you understand God more deeply, live more like Jesus and identify your unique gifts and purpose to use in missions and in life! DTS will help you discover your place in the Great Commission and embark on a lifetime adventure with God. You will be joined by individuals from all over the world. Together, you will be immersed into a community dedicated to effectively reaching the world with the Gospel.

What is a Discipleship Training School (DTS)?

• It is a life changing 5 ½ month intensive practical training with Youth With A Mission
• It will unlock a doorway for you to serve as a missionary anywhere in the world
• It can be the beginning of a degree with University of the Nations
• It has been the catalyst that God has used to establish 14,000+ full time missionaries worldwide and launch hundreds of thousands of short- term missions
• It must be a time of deep encounter with the living God who desires to be known by us even more than we desireto know Him

Lecture phase

DTS begins with a three-month lecture phase in which you will discover what it means to be a disciple of Jesus. The lecture phase is an intensive, residential training course that runs 11 to 12 weeks. You will look at a different topic each week. The topics will consist of:

• God’s Nature and Character and knowing His Father heart
• Intimacy With God and how to hear his voice
• Spiritual Warfare & Intercession
• Knowing the Holy Spirit, (Equipping you to manifest His gifts and fruit)
• God’s Redemption: Sin the Cross and the victory of His resurrection in you
• God’s Family: His Children & His Church
• God’s World: His Call, His Commission & your call to missions
• Evangelism & how to preach the gospel heal the sick and release his kingdom
• And More……..

The beauty of the teaching on the DTS is that we have speakers from many countries who are living what they are teaching. This means they inform and impart anointing to put it into action.

Outreach Phase

The lecture phase is followed by the 2 month outreach phase. Outreach phase is what makes the YWAM-DTS experience unique. We believe that discipleship is not complete until you, a disciple, begin to make disciples. Your outreach phase will give you the opportunity to travel to a foreign culture on behalf of Christ. You will become His hands and feet in bringing hope to the world. It’s an experience that is bound to shake you to the core and it will define the way in which you view yourself in missions.

Accreditation & Requirements:

The DTS is accredited with the University of the Nations (U of N) and students who successfully complete the course will receive a certificate of completion.
Since it is a university level school the program is very full and demanding. This helps to shape and mould each student to be able to stand in the mission field/ministry after completion.
