Our Heart for Children
We believe childhood is one of the most important seasons for discipleship. It is during these early years that children begin forming their values, identity, and understanding of faith.
This ministry exists to help children:
- Grow in their relationship with Jesus
- Learn the Bible in an engaging way
- Experience a loving and supportive community
- Discover the purpose God has for their lives
Weekly Children’s Gatherings
The main children’s ministry takes place every Wednesday afternoon, where we regularly minister to more than 100 children each session.
During these gatherings, children spend time:
- Playing games together
- Talking and building friendships with staff
- Singing songs and worshipping
- Learning Bible stories and growing in their knowledge of Scripture
These gatherings create a welcoming space where children can learn about God while enjoying community and fun activities.
Facilities and Activities
Over the years we have continued developing our facilities to create a better environment for the children.
Our ministry now includes:
- A playground
- A football pitch
- A large tent for teaching and activities
These spaces allow our staff and visiting outreach teams to interact with the children in creative ways through games, teaching sessions, and mentorship.
A Legacy of Discipleship
The Kids Ministry has been running in the area for almost 20 years.
Many of the full time staff currently serving on the base first encountered discipleship through this ministry when they were children themselves. Some of them grew up attending these gatherings and are now leading and mentoring the next generation.
This is the age when children can begin to understand God’s love and learn how to follow Him.
As Scripture reminds us, train up a child in the way they should go.
Our Prayer
Our prayer is to see God raise up a generation of young believers who will grow into leaders, disciples, and missionaries.
Lord raise up more oaks of righteousness from among these amazing young lives.
